A franchise is a business arrangement where the Franchisor (Redspot) grants the Franchisee the right to operate a business using its brand name, trademarks, and proven business systems. In return, the Franchisee pays fees and shares revenue. This model gives you access to an established brand, training, and ongoing support.

How do I become a Redspot Franchisee?

To get started, complete the Expression of Interest Form and Confidentiality Agreement. These documents allow us to assess your suitability. If you meet our initial criteria, we’ll outline the next steps to becoming a Franchisee.

Am I required to work in the business?

Yes. At Redspot, we’ve seen that the most successful franchises are actively managed by their owners. Running the business yourself helps you understand operations fully and build strong relationships with your customers and team. Later, you may have the opportunity to expand and open additional locations.

Can I own a franchise with a business partner?

Yes, partnerships are allowed. However, we recommend keeping the business structure simple. Before starting, discuss responsibilities with your partner and agree on a dispute resolution plan to ensure smooth operations.

What do I receive for my Initial Franchise Fee?

The Initial Franchise Fee grants you:

  • The right to use Redspot’s trusted brand names and business systems.
  • Comprehensive training in operations, customer service, and day-to-day management.
  • An Initial Marketing Program to establish your business locally.

How much does it cost to open a Redspot franchise?

The total start-up investment ranges from approximately $150,000 to $250,000, depending on the fit-out, vehicle requirements, and whether you lease or buy. Full details are provided in the Disclosure Document.

Are there ongoing fees?

Yes.

Marketing Contribution: 2.5% of sales turnover. This funds national and regional marketing campaigns to grow the Redspot brand, while you’ll also allocate funds for local promotions.

Franchise Service Fee: 7.5% of sales turnover. This covers:

  • Access to Redspot brands and products/services
  • Ongoing training, operational support, and updates
  • Group purchasing power for cost savings

Marketing Contribution: 2.5% of sales turnover. This funds national and regional marketing campaigns to grow the Redspot brand, while you’ll also allocate funds for local promotions.

Will I have support when I open my franchise?

What happens at the end of my franchise term?

If you’ve met all policies and procedures and wish to continue, you can renew for a further term. There are specific renewal requirements outlined in the Franchise Agreement, including legal costs and signing a new agreement, which may include updated conditions.

Can I sell my franchise in the future?

Yes. You can sell your franchise to a buyer who meets Redspot’s approval process. The more profitable your business, the higher its value—unlike a traditional job, where value stays with the employer.
