Our Sydney International Airport location is conveniently located inside the airport terminal. Simply jump off your flight, hop into one of our reliable vehicles and kickstart your adventures. Redspot customers arriving off international flights to Terminal 1 can make their way to our office in the arrivals hall after exiting the customs gates. Our team will complete your paperwork and send you on your way to your vehicle, which will be just a short walk from the terminal building.

Returning your car hire
When you drive into Sydney International Airport, follow the signs for car rental returns and park your car in the Redspot bays. If a member of our team isn’t already there to greet you, just make your way to our desk inside terminal 1 to drop off your key.
After hours pick-up
Redspot will stay to meet all arriving flights, including delayed flights. As long as you have supplied your flight number along with your booking, we will stay back until you arrive. If not flight details are supplied with your reservation we will stay no longer than 60mins past the booking time outside of standard operating hours.
After hours drop-off
For after hours drop-off, follow the signs for car rental returns and park in a Redspot bay. Then, make your way to our desk inside the terminal building and put your keys in our 24/7 drop box at the desk. Simple!

Note that drivers under 25 will pay a daily surcharge on their car rental fee. Car hire is limited to small to medium-sized sedans and hatchbacks.

Local P-Platers and Full Licences
Redspot Car Rentals gives P-platers the green light – one of the few Aussie companies that do! Our safety rules include:
- You must have held your provisional driver’s licence for a minimum of 1 year.
- Your full driver’s licence must be valid for a minimum of 12 months from the date of rental collection.
Overseas visitors welcome

- A full valid driver’s licence and passport
- Licences must have photo identification
- If the licence is not in English then you will need an official translated document from your embassy or road traffic authority in your home country

We can easily add additional drivers to your car rental booking. The driver will need to show their full valid driver’s licence in any branch and provide a credit card for a daily surcharge. Too easy!

We’ll always try to see you off as quickly as we can, but we do need to review some documents before sending you on your way. Here’s what you’ll need to bring when picking up your Redspot hire car:
- Credit/charge card and/or purchase order or prepaid voucher.
- Your valid driver’s licence and the driver’s licence of any additional drivers. If your licence is not in English, we’ll need to see a translation provided by your embassy or home country traffic authority.
