Redspot Car Rentals is one of the very few Australian rental car companies that cater to drivers holding an Australian Provisional Drivers Licence. We understand the importance of providing opportunities for all drivers, including those with provisional licences, to have access to reliable and convenient rental vehicles.
Each driver holding an Australian provisional driver’s licence and wishing to drive a Redspot rental vehicle is required to pay a daily provisional licence surcharge. This fee ensures that we can maintain the highest standards of safety and service for all our customers. Provisional licence drivers who are 25 or older are not limited in their choice of vehicle. They can select from our full range of vehicles without restrictions, and they are also not limited in the damage liability options they can choose from.
We believe in transparency and fairness, so current pricing for the young drivers surcharge and provisional drivers licence fee can be found on our Standard Fees & Charges page. This ensures that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision before renting a vehicle.
At Redspot Car Rentals, we are committed to offering flexible and inclusive services that cater to the diverse needs of all drivers. We look forward to providing you with an exceptional rental experience.
Conditions to rent:
- Must have a valid drivers licence for a minimum of 12 months from date of rental collection.
- Must pay with a valid credit card including any applicable bonds.
- If under 25, you must pay the under-age surcharge.
